Director of Energy Business Development

Jason leads the development and deployment of advanced energy performance simulation software. Since joining the firm in 1998, his projects have run the gamut from comparative analysis services for high-performance buildings, life-cycle analyses and daylighting systems, to monitoring and analyzing completed buildings to verify that intended energy performance goals have been met. His experience includes energy modeling for over 18 million SF of new and renovated construction, as well as Measurement and Verification services for over 10.7 million SF.

Jason's speaking engagements include presentations to AESP, the European and American Councils for an Energy Efficient Economy (ECEEE and ACEEE), AIA National and ASHRAE.

We’re seeing a growing trend in cities throughout the nation: mandating energy benchmarking as a way to achieve aggressive energy and carbon emissions reduction. We applaud the use of energy benchmarking as a way to prioritize buildings that have the most potential for improvement – in fact, we’ve been benchmarking buildings since 2004. In our experience, however, we have seen returns superior to those published in a report recently issued by the New York City Mayor's Office of Sustainability.
