The dramatic renovation of this laboratory supports the University’s rapidly growing chemistry department, ensuring its educational and research programs will remain at the forefront of new methodologies. The transformed facility accommodates bench space for 60 and includes support space, instrument room, dispensing stations, instrumental room hoods, and write-up spaces as well as a conference room. Extensive glazing and an open floor plan establish visual connectivity to foster collaboration as well as safety. All work was completed on a tight schedule in an occupied building with limited ceiling heights.
