Pediatric inpatient care has a new home in Stamford Hospital’s Whittingham Pavilion, adjacent to the existing Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), centralizing mother-child services. The center includes a treatment/exam room, playroom, and family lounge. Four dedicated acute-care rooms equipped with leading-edge monitoring and respiratory devices allow the hospital to provide more specialized care for children requiring longer stays.
