UNITE - Maker Nation: Education to Industry

Boston, MA

February 22, 2018

Makerspaces are becoming vital to college campuses and workplaces alike. Design Museum Boston's Winter UNITE panel will explore questions of who is using these spaces - and how.

Accessible makerspaces create opportunity for students and creative professionals to bring their visions to reality.  With more and more companies and schools prioritizing the maker mindset, new questions arise about the use of these spaces and who is using them.  Leila Kamal will moderate a panel of experts including Athena Moore, BUILD Space Community Manager, Autodesk; Eric Lanoue, Program Manager, MADE@MassChallenge; and Aidan Ackerman, Director of Digital Media & Faculty in the School of Landscape Architecture, Boston Architectural College.
