U.S. Army

For more than 35 years, EYP has been privileged to help the US Army, including the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), respond to the changing demands that today’s Army programs and technologies place on buildings and military bases. From our work on educational and training facilities in West Point, NY to offices and operation centers that support critical missions in Washington, DC, we honor and ensure the well-being of our nation’s troops with secure and innovative design. We are proud to advance the Army’s mission and improve its ease of management on bases, campuses, command centers, and historic sites.

About USACE

The Army established the USACE in 1802 and tasked the new organization with founding and maintaining what is now the famed military academy at West Point in upstate New York. Responsible for training and developing some of the most strategic military leaders in American history, West Point became a focal point of the Corp’s responsibilities during its early years. Throughout the later 19th and 20th centuries, the Corps expanded its work to develop defenses across the growing nation by surveying and mapping Western territories, building critical infrastructure to improve transportation, and constructing fortifications both inland and on the coasts. As the US became involved in more overseas missions in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, USACE expanded its operations to support the Army’s technological needs abroad.
