The article also explored several federal building projects as signs of investment in our country’s security and global impact, including the EYP-designed U.S. Consulate in Erbil, Iraq, which, upon completion, will be the largest such facility in the world.

Featured in numerous national and international magazines, daily newspapers, and online business sources, EYP recently announced its participation in the Sustainability and Health Initiative for NetPositive Enterprise (SHINE) program at the Center for Health and the Global Environment at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
The article, “Bridge to the Past,” authored by EYP Senior Structural Engineer and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) adjunct faculty member Mark Kanonik, recounts how a group of RPI structural engineering master’s degree students completed an extensive and unique analysis of the historic Shushan Covered Bridge in Shushan, NY. In accordance with the Historic American Engineering Record, the students documented the structure, while partaking in a radical departure from the traditional classroom engineering educational experience.
The Tradeline article, “The Future of Research Facility Design,” compares today’s laboratory design environment with that of five years ago, while exploring trends that effect how institutions determine how and when to build and/or renovate laboratory spaces.
