I’ve always been an industry misfit – living in the space between architecture and engineering, finding inspiration in art and science, and having as much fun drawing as coding.
So many of the possibilities for the future of design lie in the spaces between disciplines. Design influences behavior, but data is how we learn from what we do. Nature mimicry profoundly impacts our mental health, and computational methods help us generate advanced solutions.
With a background in architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I take what I’ve learned to uncover answers for today’s health, wellness, and resource conservation issues.
As an architectural designer at EYP, I believe in design’s ability to communicate values. I strive to make spaces where people are inspired and valued, where they heal and maintain health, and where all people feel welcome. As a member of our research team and generative studio, I look backward and forward to address present challenges.
I look forward to exploring innovative design solutions with you on your next project.
