Janna Kotlyar IIDA, CHID

Senior Interior Designer

Specializing in healthcare and higher education, I bring two decades of comprehensive interior design experience across these sectors. My deepest passion is designing pediatric facilities, as we can allow our imaginations to run wild to create positive distractions and calming surroundings for parents and children alike.

As a full-scope interior designer, my responsibilities are to oversee every detailed aspect of the interior design process related to project delivery, client communication, project management, and selection and specification of finishes and furniture, as well as budget reconciliation and project documentation and administration.

An avid world traveler, I thrive on exploring diverse cultures, learning new languages, and studying to cook ethnic cuisines. This exposure to the world and its peoples and architectures provides an inspiration for my overall design process.

One of my great passions is to mentor both interior design and architectural interns. I excel in working cooperatively with my clients to offer creative, impactful, and functional design solutions that promote patient recovery and improved wellbeing. I am dedicated to ongoing professional development, recently becoming a Certified Healthcare Interior Designer, and am currently studying for the WELL AP Certification exam.

Let’s collaborate to make your vision a reality.
