I am driven by my love of architecture—a profession that engages you in creative decision-making and problem-solving. My passion has always been people and how they interact. It gives me great pleasure to exceed a client's expectations and provide exceptional service that fulfills their vision and needs.

An architect is a generalist and a specialist; that is how we were taught to think. My fly-fishing hobby is similar. I tie a fly and then read the mountain stream with an eye for the overall picture of where the fish are, which insects are hatching, and how the weather affects them. I use this same big picture thinking, combined with an attention to detail, as a Senior Project Manager.

Having been in healthcare architecture for more than half my career, I use a calm and thoughtful approach to lead a team of designers, medical planners, and technicians. Scheduling, phasing, and maintaining a client's budget through projects such as a million-square-foot hospital bed tower or a smaller cancer center have been my compass in providing this valuable service. I have experience with many design and construction aspects and details but always keep the big picture in mind to see a project through to welcoming its first patient.
