I have worked with the federal government for more than 30 years, concentrating on organizations dedicated to national security, including the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. My focus stems from my desire to support military members and civilians who have committed their careers to protecting our nation.
From my work leading the new National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) East headquarters to the renovation of the 1.4 million SF Bancroft Hall at the US Naval Academy to my ongoing work with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), I am driven to serve the American people and contribute to national security through design.
As Project Executive, I lead diverse teams to solve technically complex problems for these mission-essential clients. Working side-by-side with architects, engineers, and designers, I take a hands-on approach to management, analyzing solutions, and facilitating collaboration, all in support of our government clients.
And I believe communication is key to project success. Listening to you, understanding your project goals, and delivering on your vision throughout all phases of a project – it’s personal to me. The work you do is critical, and client satisfaction is my ultimate goal.
Rooted in my appreciation for construction – and collaboration – I have a particular interest in the design-build delivery method, supporting contractors to implement technical solutions. I use my knowledge and experience in the construction trades to guide the design team and achieve the client’s needs.
