Design Principal

A passion for design and dedication to partnership characterize John's approach to every project. He works closely with clients throughout the planning and design phases, ultimately guiding them from conceptual design to construction.

John received the First Prize Group Winner award in the International Design Competition, Leipzig, Germany, and the College of Architecture Design Award and an Honorary Award in the Comprehensive Design Category from the University of Houston in 2000. John is a member of the Rice Design Alliance.


College and university makerspaces provide key opportunities for academic and entrepreneurial innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ways to facilitate new paradigms for learning and teaching, but importantly, they can also provide the campus with a renewed sense of community. More
